I ran across this tool today and thought i would share, GMER. According to GMER, “all your rootkits are belong to us [*]”
Seems legit, i removed some malware from my daughters laptop with malware bytes and kept finding some traces, so i ran autoruns, removed anything suspicious and non microsoft from autostarting, disabled any services that looked suspicous and finally looked for recently modified hidden and system files. removed a few dropper files. and i thought, “hey, i should check if this pc has a rootkit!”
ive used several tools and i like this one.. just wanted to share… no glowing review.. no magic.. just get it
